Modern GSB evolution. Parabolic tip. Fast recovery. USA-made.
The Lamiglas SuperSurf 3G Pro is the modern evolution of the GSB blank that's been a Northeast surfcasting standard for decades. Frank Goncalves designed the SSG3 to keep what GSB owners love — the parabolic, forgiving tip that throws eels and metal-lips without killing their action — while updating it with quicker recovery, more crispness, and reduced weight. Built on a sleek gray blank with Paco Grip-style spiral fore and rear grips that put maximum surface area on your hand when you're trying to put the brakes on a charging fish. Fuji reel seats and Titanium guides round out the build. USA-made, one rod at a time.

Frank Goncalves designed this blank for the kind of surfcasting most Northeast guys actually do — throwing eels at night, working metal-lips in the rip, bucktailing the wash. The parabolic tip is what makes the difference: it absorbs the surge of a big fish so you don't tear out hooks, but it loads fast enough for bucktailing and metals work too. We sell every one we can get of the 10' MH, which is the model we point most serious surfcasters toward when they want to step up from production blanks.
