TFO Blue Bight Spinning Rod

USA-made. Toray carbon blank. Designed with light tackle captains.

The TFO Blue Bight is the first-ever made-in-USA rod from Temple Fork Outfitters — hand-crafted one at a time at TFO's new state-of-the-art rod-making facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. From blank to ready-to-fish, every component is built and assembled in America. The series was developed in collaboration with light tackle guides and captains running charters along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, which means every taper choice is tuned for real inshore work — not a marketing-driven compromise. Toray carbon fiber blanks delivered in a distinctive Aquamarine finish, Fuji K-Frame anti-tangle guides with Alconite inserts, premium Fuji TVS reel seats, and custom cork grips. Four spinning models cover Medium through Magnum Heavy.

Why We Like It

USA-made fishing rods at this price point are exceptional. TFO's done what very few rod brands have managed: bring rod manufacturing back to American hands at a price that still makes sense for serious anglers. The Blue Bight is the rod we point guide-driven anglers toward when they want a workhorse inshore rod that holds up to commercial-grade use. TFO's lifetime warranty makes it a buy-once-fish-forever proposition.
