Positions Available:

PART-TIME ORDER FULFILLMENT and STOCKING ASSOCIATE

The Saltwater Edge is a fast-paced, growing business, seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking and reliable person to fulfill and ship online and phone orders.
Initially this is a part time, 20 hours a week position. Hours are 9am – 1pm ; but flexible, Monday through Saturday; also flexible.  Dependent on other skills (sales, operations, content creation, web development) this could evolve into a full time position as we prefer to promote from within.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Packaging orders and preparing them for shipment

• Shipping prepared orders

• Monitoring orders and follow-up

• Assist in receiving merchandise, tagging and stocking shelves/warehouse

• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse/shipping area

• Other daily duties as assigned

• Some lifting required, maximum is about 35 lbs.

Skills must have:

• Hard working, coachable and smart

• Proven work ethic with utmost integrity to ensure all customers are being serviced properly

• Must be detail oriented, making sure each item is picked correctly in accurate quantities

• Good communication skills via phone, email and chat

• A self-starter approach, able to complete all tasks accurately with little or no supervision

• Ability to stand during scheduled hours, reaching, climbing on ladders, pulling, kneeling, etc., to pull merchandise from shelves

• Basic computer skills

Knowledge of the following a plus:

• Prior experience in order picking and packaging and/or shipping

• Love of saltwater fishing and the outdoors is a plus

Market based compensation based on experience with additional Performance Bonus available after initial training period of 90 days
