Albie Snax are often the answer when you just can't seem to get the attention of false albacore with more "normal" options like Deadly Dicks or Epoxy Jigs.  Soft plastic baits are often something they can't resist even on their pickiest days.  Unfortunately most cast terribly.]

This killer lure isn't limited to albies either - it's deadly on many predatory species everywhere all year round.

The inventor of Albie Snax wanted a soft bait designed to cast for distance while at the same time maintaining the darting motion that soft baits are known for.  We also like the round design because each bait has more usable area than the flat sided Sluggo or Hogy.

They are five inches in length and weigh 1/2 an ounce. They are available in four colors: white, pink, amber and olive and come six to a package. Hand-poured in the USA.

Albie Snax hooks work perfectly with the Snax as do the Owner Twistlock Beast Hooks in size 4/0.

I recommend this product
Redfish like them too

I was introduced to Albie Snax in January after fishing with a Saltwater Edge employee in FL. While he didn't catch any reds that weekend, I was impressed enough with the baits to look into purchasing some this spring. As luck would have it, The Saltwater Edge had the best prices I could find online! I placed my order last Wednesday afternoon, had the baits in hand by Friday (Excellent service!!) and was on the water for a trial run by sunrise Sunday morning. I spotted my first red of the morning crashing 1" long shrimp along the edge of the marsh in >12" of water. The fish proceeded to refuse repeat offerings on my fly rod and began to move out of casting range. Swapping to a spinning rod rigged with a Smoke/Silver Albie Snax, I launched a cast approximately five feet ahead of where I had last sighted the red. The water exploded as the bait touched down and I had a 26" red alongside my kayak a few minutes later. While it was the only red landed on the day, the Albie Snax produced a handful of other solid hits before the bite shutoff around 8 AM. No other bait, fly or spin, produced a single strike from a red. Moving forward, I'll definitely be keeping an Albie Snax rigged up as I head into the marsh.

When the Albies are finicky ...

When Albies are especially finicky, the Albie Snax have come to the rescue. I love rigging them on the 1/2 ounce Fish Snax jighead - they maintain their action, but you can cast them a lot further. Try this combo; you won t be disappointed!

Stripers love em

Great for Stripers both early and late season in the rivers. Everything from schoolies, to keepers go after them and they hold up well that you'll be on the same one for dozens of fish a day.
