The Korkers Rocktrax Plus has a lot of spikes - 52 to be exact, and they're pushed all the way out to the edges. For that reason this is probably the highest traction product Korkers makes. The classic and reliable push-in style studs are lighter then the screw in style as well. When you need to replace them theseare the ones you're looking for.

These work really well for surfcasting but if you fish from the rocks with consistency the toe strap will wear out on the outside surface due to abrasion. You will need to replace it. Also might as well order an extra pack of push-through studs when you buy these because they fall out little by little with use. Not hard to replace the studs but eventually the holes will wear out and won't hold studs securely anymore. expect 1-2 seasons with routine use.
These things are a must for jetty/rock hopping. Gives a sense of security on the slippery, algae covered wave battered rocks in this area. Also makes it much safer. As always Saltwater has great customer service. I’ve ordered a lot of gear from here and it always shops same day.
I found the Rocktrax plus to be perfect for my purpose, wearing them over Keen’s. I felt VERY secure on the slippery rocks where I fish, and I’m sure they will fit nicely over my wader boots when it cools.
How anyone fished without these, I have no idea.I wear them right over my neoprene booties. I get a season out of pair, but I fish very very very hard. There is NO alternative, and I doubt there ever will be.
