Grip Studs were discovered several years ago by surfcasters and quickly became popular due to their durability. Hardcore surfcasters are going entire seasons and well beyond on just a single set. They are not inexpensive, but due to how long they last everyone usually discovers they are totally worth it when you do the math. Plus the time savings of not constantly maintaining and replacing normal surf fishing studs.
