Hareline's UV2 Select Bucktails are premium northern bucktails run through the UV2 process, which adds both ultraviolet reflectance and ultraviolet fluorescence to the hair — the two ways gamefish actually pick up UV. The result is a tail that stays visible in low light, stained water, and down deep where ordinary dyes go flat.

Select tails are hand-graded for hair length, straightness, and flare, so there's usable hair from the tip all the way down the tail: long, fine hair up top for flatwings, Deceivers, and hollow fleyes, shorter stacking hair below for Clousers, half-and-halfs, and bucktail jigs.
