The Texas Tackle Split Ring Pryers/Pliers have a hardened-polished wedge tip for easy and smooth operation. They are made of a high quality surgical stainless steel for corrosion/rust resistance and utilize a slip resistant plastic grip to make a positive grip even when your hands are wet. Each plier is also self opening, making sure you are able to make quick work of replacing hooks and split rings, giving you less frustration and more time on the water
Coming in several sizes, each is built to accommodate different sizes of split rings. The general purpose model for saltwater use is the large, while inshore/freshwater is the standard and X-Large is for you heavy duty saltwater needs.

Out of the package, build quality is poor, and steel feels very brittle. It's showing dents after attaching a single Rasco split ring. They do the job intended, but I don't expect them to last long.
