Temple Fork Deep Eddy Nearshore Rods

Model: DE S 704-1 Spinning · M · 10-20 lb

The Temple Fork Deep Eddy is TFO's do-it-all nearshore saltwater rod — one 7' platform that moves from casting plugs in the rips to bouncing bottom for blackfish to drifting baits for fluke without missing a beat. If you want one rod that earns a spot on every inshore trip, this is the one to grab.

The blank is Toray intermediate-modulus carbon with X Wrap reinforcement to cut torsional twist, so the rod tracks true under load and recovers fast for accurate, repeatable casts. The tip is sensitive enough to telegraph subtle bites and read bottom, while the mid-section has the backbone to lift a striper out of the current or turn a tog away from structure.

Components are salt-ready top to bottom: Seaguide Alien reel seats, marine-grade 316 stainless Seaguide guides, custom contoured EVA grips, and a Delrin gimbal butt. Available in both spinning (DE S) and conventional (DE C) configurations on the same blank, in three powers. Backed by TFO's lifetime warranty.
