Stormr Cast Gloves are perfect for use with braided line as they feature a Kevlar index finger and thumb tip to protect wet fingers from line cuts. Premium micro-fleece lined neoprene with 3mm total thickness results plenty of warmth. This about the max density you can fish with and still maintain good dexterity. You can't tie knots (not easily anyways) with these on but they do allow for a good amount of dexterity that you need while fishing. Adjustable wrist closure snugs up the gloves and glued and blind-stitched seams help keep water out.
Measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger.

Gloves are great for those cold days. Make sure to get the size that feels tightest on your hands. Any extra length in the fingertips and it makes it hard to cast.
Neoprene gloves get a bad wrap for most other than duck hunters. Everyone says their hands get colder while wearing such. For starters... Neoprene typically insulates better when wet. These work for that, obviously. And if you don't plan on getting your hands soaked but need a glove for the cold and some splash/waterproofing... Try these! And make sure they are not "skin tight" as I feel that's a bigger issue than the neoprene "bad label" itself. I understand fishing and dexterity issues but you need a little room in there. I recently fished an entire 29-35° tide with a glove on my reel hand while on and off of my rod hand. By shifts end, one hand was toasty and one freakin' cold! I didn't listen to the old school neoprene talk and I'm glad I didn't. Note: These pair well with the typhoon jacket(no wrist gaskets).
Great fit and functional for being in the surf. Highly recommended.
Very fit, but not waterproof
