Powerful, light and durable, the Shimano TLD II A lever drag reels offer 2-speed versatility, salt-resistant A-RB bearings and all the performance you can handle. The TLD and TLD II combine value and proven history to match any competitor, with models suited to saltwater trolling, bottom fishing and jigging.
Shimano TLD reels stand out as lightweight, versatile models at an incredibly affordable price. Their effective simplicity in a 2-Speed lever drag format appeals to anglers of all abilities. Whether you're buying your first multiplier or adding to an experienced arsenal, the TLD remains one of the most compelling choices on value and quality, as thousands of anglers worldwide will testify.
The range is built on a reliable graphite composite frame that is lightweight and corrosion resistant, complementing the stainless steel gearing. Internally, four A-RB anti-rust bearings plus a roller bearing keep the durable aluminium spool running smoothly in all conditions. The larger 2-Speed TLD II models deliver more powerful drags and are better suited to trolling for the largest, most powerful fish.
A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearing) stainless-steel ball bearings are specially treated to drastically increase the corrosion resistance of the bearing — essential for the demands of the saltwater environment.
