Overall best reel on the market and part of my setups. I have 3. It’s reputation, performance, durability and value says everything you need to know. With the respective braid line you like to use… I don’t think you can spend $300.00 any better. I dunk this, I reel underwater I do everything I do with my Van Staal. Still going. The VS is a tank and takes a beating. The Saragossa although not built like a VS. it’s just as good. Just a different reel. This Gosa depending what size you get is great for any saltwater fishing the everyday man or woman does.
Shimano made the new Saragossa better then the old one. Best reel for the money
Couldn’t be happier with the 6000. It has proven itself over 3 seasons of serious use. It’s been dunked and dropped and pulled in many and some larger fish. Drag has been solid and consistent and the line lay is very good. Sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case you get a bit more than what you pay for. It’s a shimano so it’s plenty smooth as well.
The Shimano Shimano Saragossa Family of reels is the best Buck for the money. They catch also catch Big Fish and I can verify that All day long . From the 5000/6000 to the 25,000 I only have good things to say. Grab one today before their gone.
