Waterproof YKK front zip. 4-layer recycled H2No shell. Chest-to-waist convertible.
The Patagonia Swiftcurrent Traverse Zip-Front Waders are built for anglers who fish hard and often. The 4-layer, 5.6-oz H2No Performance Standard shell is 100% recycled and treated with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS, cutting weight and bulk without giving up durability. A waterproof YKK front zipper makes layering and streamside relief simple, while a gusseted crotch and articulated seat and legs keep you moving through brush and boulders. Repatterned throughout for reduced seam stress and easier repair, with anatomical booties that fit more like a sock than a bag.
| Weight | 1,250 g (44.09 oz) |
| Shell | 4-layer 50-denier 100% recycled polyester microfiber, waterproof/breathable barrier |
| Chest Pockets | 86% recycled polyester (OceanCycle certified) / 14% spandex stretch weave |
| Color | River Rock Green |
| Country of Origin | Made in Vietnam |
The zip front is the feature that changes how a wader day actually goes — layering, venting, and relief all get easier, and the YKK waterproof zipper is the one part of that equation worth paying for. Patagonia rebuilt the patterning on this generation specifically to cut seam stress at the failure points, which matters more than any spec sheet number when you are three seasons in.
