Designed by one of the most well-known tautog fishermen in the Northeast, the Magictail Inshore Series of rods provide an exceptional option for fisherman taking on the diverse fishery we are fortunate to have in New England. These rods took several years of designing to perfect the action, sensitivity, and power of the blanks to perform whether you are dropping tog jigs, bucktails, or casting to striped bass. Often when dropping down jigs to tautog, extra power is needed to lift them out of the rocks and into more open water, and between the blank itself as well as a carbon wrap for added hoop strength of the blank, these rods are able to handle it with ease. These rods were built to perform when bottom fishing with bucktails and tautog jigs, but will readily take a plug or diamond jig for casting. If you need a rod built for success on your next tautog or fluke mission, the Magictail Inshore Series of rods is definitely a rod to consider.

Feels unreal in hand, comes with neoprene rod sleeve which is a nice touch. Nice thin low profile handle should be great for the kayak.
