I started off trying out the B7215S medium. I've used it for over a year as all around inshore workhorse. It can handle light jigging for stripers and tosses a mirrolure a mile when I'm after specks. I liked it so much I added two of the medium lites in this lineup that are dedicated speck setups. Recently picked up the new B7325S 7’3” 1/2-2 oz Med/Hvy to fill a void in my quiver. I effing love these rods. Also, Lamiglas is an amazing company with the nicest people that will help you out with any questions you might have.
Picked up the 7’6” of this rod and paired it with a Saltist Backbay LT 4000 size reel. Spooled with 20lb braid with a 30lb fluorocarbon leader, I use this as my inshore winter rig. Works great and can handle smaller fish up in the bays and rivers but also can handle anything big that’s up there hunting. Great all around setup. I’ll also carry this as a back up to my surf setup in the summer. Thoughts on the rod…well it does what its supposed to do. Really good castability but responsive enough. Some really small fish you might miss but I wouldn’t target these guys with this. One area this rod seems it would thrive is for the kayak fisherman out there.
I got b7630s and it feels amazing. I got it at the end of the season, but so far it feels great and throws heavy lures well. Shipping was very quick and took only two days!
