Jeck's Bucktails are at the top of their class when it comes to finish and durability. Tied on genuine Mustad hooks, the tail is built up in thin layers to provide unmatched durability. The larger sizes are started with a nylon thread, glued and then once that process has cured, they are then finished with the final layers followed by epoxy. All of Jeck's Bucktails are tied with prime hair, and where applicable, genuine Whiting Farms hackle.
Sizes .5oz-1oz use a 7/0 Mustad hook.
Sizes 1.25oz-4oz use an 8/0 Mustad hook.
Sizes 5oz and above use a 9/0 Mustad hook.

I use these for fluking and striper fishing. It has a strong hook and is well made. The hackle tail will only hold up for a few fish so I'll add on a thin strip of Otter tail after that.
very beautifully designed bucktail, caught one monster on it so far
Well tied. Good paint. Good sharp hook. Nice materials used in the tail.
I can hardly keep myself from biting it. Next is to see what the fish think.
