Taking the shallower water inshore market in mind, the Hogy Slow Tail Paddles perform for those times when a more lifelike, natural, and slower presentation is needed to get the fish chewing. These baits feature a twin ribbon tail design which offers great movement even at the slowest retrieves speeds. A UV-infused heavy-duty soft plastic material is utilized in the construction of this bait to give it the durability anglers request. The 5.5" size features a hook rigging pouch that allows the hook to swing more freely from the rest of the bait, perfect for larger predators. A heavy-duty 3x Strong VMC Barbarian Jig Hook sits at the heart of this bait, giving it the sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance needed to handle many inshore fish such as stripers, snook, tarpon, and more. Simply provide a slow and steady retrieve, twitch and goes, or find your own style, and this bait is bound to produce.

Perfect for current and high visibility color in Chartreuse.
Holds great in current and high quality plastics.
I have these slow tail paddles in a few different sizes but what I particularly like about the four inch is how well it casts. I can also use a very slow retrieve because of its buoyancy. Swim baits have been my go to bait and the slow tail is a great addition to my arsenal.
