The Gravity Tackle GT Eel is a long-bodied soft plastic stick bait designed to imitate eels and large needlefish. It's the perfect bait in lowlight conditions, and constantly shifts colors at different light angles, providing an extra source of realism. The GT Eel can be fished in a wide variety of ways, whether it be trolled behind the kayak, jigged off the bottom, or casted at structure.
For 2020, all GT Eels have a mixture of herring and squid scents that is absorbed into the material. It has proven to last, not completely overpowering and doesn't give off a rotten scent if not used. Scents are made within the US and baits are soaked in them for 24 hours before bagging.

The 13.5" GT eels have a great action and the colors are amazing. I do find them a bit difficult to cast from the shore as the length and flexibility really hinder the distance. As a soft plastic from shore, I much prefer the 9" version.
These have been a gamechanger for me. As water temperatures rise, the plug bite in my area generally dies. I could always extend my season by chunking, but that’s not really my cup of tea. Jigging these off the bottom st the end of outgoing tide has led to a very consistent bite in areas you would swear were devoid of fish if throwing nothing but plugs. They fish well I’m not low current and high current areas, and either deep dredging them or using on a swim hook. They are a staple in my bag.
