Gear-Up's Surf Belt is made out of scuba webbing material. It consists of 3 layers of the webbing material. The belt has a stainless steel scuba diving buckle. It has plenty of Military Industrial Velcro in front just in case the buckle opens up on you, the Velcro will keep the flap (which enters the buckle) intact and will stop the belt from falling.
The belt also has an elastic band to go over the front flap of the webbing after its buckle down to give it extra security so the front end has nowhere to go.

Very satisfied with this surfbelt.
Works good
This belt is very stiff nylon. There is enough adjustment that I can wear the belt with or without waders or a surf top. Very stiff keeps you supported and can support lots of gear. Great belt.
