Meeting the demands for inshore saltwater anglers, the G. Loomis GCX Inshore Spinning Rods gives anglers coast to coast a battle-worthy option for handling anything from the flats to the nearshore opportunities. Eleven models in the spinning category give a wide yet refined option list for the anglers throwing hard-baits, jigs, soft plastics, or live baits to species such as striped bass, bluefish, redfish, bonefish, and more.
The GCX Inshore features premium Fuji reel seats, an optimized SeaGuide guide train and premium cork handles. G. Loomis uses its Multi-Taper technology in the GCX, giving what is known as "micro-tapers" that run throughout the blank. More material is used in certain key areas to provide extra strength for potential breakpoints and less material in non-essential areas. This unique process is done with a custom rolling table and is proprietary to G. Loomis. A beefed-up resin system also aids in its impact resistance, delivering a workhorse option for everyday use.

Great rod super light and high quality.
Very pleased with this rod. If you like the E6X inshore I highly recommend trying this one. It’s a higher quality blank with an upgraded guide train. My full review of this rod is on YouTube. https://youtu.be/pBCocuMI1X8
I have several generations of inshore Loomis spinning rods. This rod is without a doubt the best so far. Great light tackle albie rod. Casts light and medium weight plugs effortlessly.
Rod has great power to throw 1.5 oz bucktails or light wt albie snax very accurately.
