Danco Premio Titanium Pliers are incredible quality at a reasonable price. Nothing lasts quite like titanium in saltwater.
All sizes share the stiffness inherent in titanium and that is augmented by the unique over-sized Super Halo Hinge. This open hinge is also handy when tightening knots with a direct pull. Another very nice design feature is that the jaws arerelatively narrow at the tip and this will allow you to reach places where bulkier jaws can not.
The 5.5 make a great light tackle plier for smaller hooks and less powerful quarry. Think fluke, sea trout and smaller bluefish. Ideal for the flats angler.
The 6.5 is the most popular size. It is up to the task for most surf and inshore angling situations.
The 7.5 the big game plier in the line-up. Since they are skeletonized they are lighterthan the other similarly sized titanium options on the market, while retaining the stiffness and the nice jaw design allowing you to wrangle your treble from the angriest bluefish.

I Purchased the 6.5” pliers to replace a pair of more expensive pliers. These are just as nice, feel great in the hand. They come with a nice leather sheath and lanyard(which i will upgrade) . It the 6.5” fits nicely into my flatlander 7” vs plier sheath. The cutter is excellent, slices thru braid, mono and fluro like butter. At much lower price Than similar pliers, if you're considering, you won’t be disappointed.
Great item and I won’t have to buy another pair of pliers again. Great investment.
Great pliers, very sharp cutters and strong jaws. Looking forward to using these for seasons to come. Bought these to replace cheaper pliers and they have definitely been worth the money so far.
Pliers are great and are perfectly sized for a surf fly fisherman who wants minimalism. Best part is they don’t rust which is a perpetual issue with the stainless jaws on typical aluminum pliers. Only gripe is that the belt loop on the sheath is too small to fit most wading belt buckles, so good luck looping it onto your waders or stripping basket.
