Elephants eat peanuts. When theDaiwa SP Minnow arrived on the scene a few years ago striper fishermen everywhere were reminded of that fact. Don't let the weight fool you, thanks to the weight transfer system this little lure casts as though it were much heavier.

When the top bite slows the sp minnow goes! Tough enough to take punishment from bluefish and pull in stripers when pencil poppers aren't getting hits. Bone color never fails!
Good caught many blues and some strippers.
The SP in 6.75” has certainly earned a front row seat in the striper bag. Accounted for hundreds from the surf this Spring again. When retrieving **REMEMBER** its a RIP bait .
One of the best casting plugs of this type. Just plain catches from school size to the big girls. I am moving to just fishing a front treble and a split with just a hook shank (no hook point) on the rear to aid in release fishing. Great all around choice
