Daiwa utilizes its own proprietary Monocoque one-piece body to provide 360 degrees of support & rigidity throughout the reel. This one-piece body limits flex to a nearly non-existent level which gives the drive train more rigidity to operate, giving the angler a silky and effortless turning of the handle. Its inherited one-piece body allows for extra interior space within to which allows Daiwa to increase gear size.

Cold foraged digitally cut gears known to Daiwa as Tough Digigear make the heart of the reel and with their increased size more torque and power can be applied in the fight. Safeguarding this racecar of a reel, Daiwa utilizes their Magseal Technology to protect entry points for sand, salt, and other debris from entering the main shaft, bearings, and other points of access to vitals of the reel. The Exist's Monocoque body also elevates the reels sealing as there are eliminated entry points for sand, salt, and other debris from entering in through screw holes & pins like most standard reels.
