Built custom for SWE by Aquidneck Island Rod Builders, the Century Sling Shot is a rod designed for distance, whether you are throwing plugs or throwing bait. These rods have a moderate-fast action, along with a quick recovery, which in combination gives the performance as desired. The blank on the Sling Shot is thinner-walled, giving the rods fast recovery, but is given added durability and strength due to its reinforcement of Century's Graphene Technology.
These Sling Shots are built by Aquidneck Island Rod Builders feature American Tackle TiForaged 316SS Snagless Guides, perfect for extreme strength, reduced weights, and casting distance. A Fuji reel seat accommodates a wide assortment of reel feet, with shrink tubing being applied throughout the rear grip and foregrip of the rod. The butt section and reel seat are built up to provide extra width for key handhold areas during casting, with a tapered area in between to reduce weight. Both built-up sections are given a "Dragon Scale" design that certainly provides a remarkable aesthetic, but also aids in comfort and greater control while casting.
