The Chiron Inshore Game Popping rods from Centaur are likely the finest offshore rods for casting lures you can find. Overbuilt with imported Japanese components (including Fuji KW guides and hard EVA foam) on an incredible, reinforced Toray carbon blank, this rod is made to handle anything from kingfish, amberjack and grouper all the way to yellowfin and bluefin tuna. Paired with a top-quality spinning reel and heavy-duty braided line, these rods are flat-out powerful.
Whether casting poppers, stick baits, soft plastics, or jigs these rods have both the necessary distance and the action to work baits properly built right in. All models are of 2-piece configuration, with butt/joint attachment.
