Built to be your next (and last) surf belt, the Z Belt Gen2 Belt Wading/Surfcasting Belt provides great lumbar support due to its unique wider width. Its center width is four inches and two-inch webbing runs throughout the belt for easy attachment of most surfcasting equipment such as bags, pliers, d-rings, etc. A roller locking buckle with velcro connection provides secure yet easy on/off attachment, ideal for all-season use and when temperatures change within hours. Neoprene inner belt provides strength & durability while also giving great flexibility for all-day use when jumping and swimming to your next rock.

I'm a recent retiree and with this phenomenal fall bass run, I've already enjoyed many long days using my new ZBelt and I absolutely love it! Its a top quality product that provides great extra back support. IMO, this is the best surfcasting belt on the market. Thanks!
The Z Belt Gen 2 is a good surf belt. It fits nicely and the wide lumbar pad is very comfortable. I had to modify mine a bit as I tend to carry a heavier plug bag and it sags badly when hitched to the strap. I added a center metal strap/clip to help support my plug bag. It did not completely solve the problem for me. So, I am wearing the shoulder strap for the plug bag across my chest and over the opposite shoulder. This supports my plug bag. The security strap closes tightly and securely but is not easy to get off quickly. If I ever had to get my waders off in a hurry it would be difficult. Fortunately this is a situation I have not encountered yet. A quick release Nexus-type buckle might be a better option- not sure.
My lower back used to be killing me after a few hours in the surf with a heavy three tube bag. Since switching to the z belt my back gets less fatigued and overall feels much better.
Good support. I can really cinch it down when my back starts to ache and get some relief.
