DuraCoat dual-polymer. EST+ slickness. The next-generation clear floating line.
The Magnitude Infinity Salt Clear Float is Scientific Anglers' most advanced clear floating fly line — engineered to be the most durable and slickest clear floating line on the market. DuraCoat dual-polymer construction layers a supple inner material (for low memory) with a robust outer layer (for slickness and abrasion resistance). EST+ slickness additive makes it shoot harder and longer than typical clear lines, while being more eco-friendly than older slickness chemistries. The 12-foot clear floating tip gives you full visual line tracking with stealth where it matters. Built half-size heavy to turn over large flies on windy days. Six weights cover the full flats lineup from WF-7 to WF-12.

Clear floating fly lines have historically been the weak point in fly line tech — they wear out fast, lose slickness, and develop memory. The Magnitude Infinity line fixes all three with the DuraCoat dual-polymer approach. The EST+ slickness gets noticeably better distance than older clear lines, and the line holds its performance season after season. At $150, it's the premium pick for flats anglers who fish enough to justify the spend over the SA SONAR Clear Intermediate or other entry-level options.
