Jeck's Bucktails are at the top of their class when it comes to finish and durability. Tied on genuine Mustad hooks, the tail is built up in thin layers to provide unmatched durability. The larger sizes are started with a nylon thread, glued and then once that process has cured, they are then finished with the final layers followed by epoxy. All of Jeck's Bucktails are tied with prime hair, and where applicable, genuine Whiting Farms hackle.
Sizes .5oz-1oz use a 7/0 Mustad hook.
Sizes 1.25oz-4oz use an 8/0 Mustad hook.
Sizes 5oz and above use a 9/0 Mustad hook.

These are the best Bucktails I ve found. Excellant quality! Perfect amount of deer hair tied equally around jig, they stay together very well even after catching a lot of fish. They are a little more money than some other brands but totally worth it. I always try and buy a lot of them because they usually sell out rather quick.
