The VMC 9171 Siwash Hooks were originally designed for salmon fishermen but work great for replacing the trebles or poor quality singles on the back of your favorite plugs. VMC Siwash Hooks are lighter and sharper than most other hooks out of the box hooks. Size 2/0 are great for smaller plugs like Bombers or stubby needlefish Size 3/0 is perfect for small darters, needlefish, poppers, and much more weighing almost 1 Ounce Size 4/0 work great on plugs weighing 1 ounce. Lighter plugs where too much tail weight might affect the action Size 5/0 or 6/0 are a good match fpr plugs 2 ounces and up. Big Danny Swimmers, Beachmaster Swimmers, Darters, or plugs where a little added weight wouldn't affect the overall action of the plug. Big hook for big fish!
