To use a Shimano Butterfly Flat-Fall Jigs, drop the Flat Fall down to the bottom, crank it up to about 30' off the bottom, and free spool. Or, cast and let it fall while free spooling, wait for the bite, then jerk and repeat.
The center-balanced Shimano Flat-Fall Jig falls with a wobbling action in a horizontal attitude. Features 2 Owner Dancing Stinger hooks.

These are my go-to jigs for slow pitch jigging. Can't beat the action and cost. I especially like the green/silver one, which we nicknamed the "Green Machine" after one awesome morning of landing fish after fish, including a monster red grouper. The finish is very resilient compared to similarly priced jigs. HIGHLY recommend!
I love this jig. I’ve caught a multitude of species on it, but especially Black Sea bass.
hammered off the cape when diamond jigs were fishing 2-1 also caught plenty of seabass , cod , haddock, scup , tried to cast to tuna ... not yet fastest shipping around !! No tackle D. games
