Gear-Ups's Bucktail Pouch is built like their surf bags with pouches to help keep tins and bucktails in even when the bag is open. This bag utilizes black Dacron Sailcloth on the outside but uses white sailcloth on the inside to increase visibility when swapping lures at night.

I got this gear up buck-tail pouch hoping to have a solid solution for carrying all the various jigs I use during a surf fishing session and let me just say it has not disappointed. I have all my jigs neatly organized and ready to pick at my hip, the varying slots inside allow for different ounce bucktails to be stored and the industrial velcro and clasp on the outside keeps everything from spilling out when i get swept by a wave. by the end of session all i have to do is run some fresh water inside to collectively get any salt off my gear.

The construction quality is fantastic. In the attached picture you can see 5 rows of stitching across the base of the top flap that anchors the top of the two belt loop straps. That's on top of a piece of reinforcing webbing, and the edges of the flap are finished with some beautifully applied taping. It wasn't cheap, but it is an excellent value for something made this well, by hand, in the USA. The close grained sailcloth is fairly rigid and resists hook points and snagging well. I've used it a half dozen times, each time it was at least partially submerged for 2-3 hours. I've hosed it down after each trip and it looks as good as new.
This pouch holds up to its reputation. I use is it on the breach qaud, wading up to my chest and it holds up great !!!
