Stronger than stock. Easier to open than you'd think. Won't rust out on you.
Most saltwater lures ship with weak split rings — undersized, soft wire, and the first thing to fail when a fish gets leverage on you. Owner Hyper Wire are the standard upgrade: a thicker, harder stainless wire that opens cleanly with split-ring pliers, springs back tight, and holds under the kind of pressure that pops cheaper rings off the lure.
| Construction | High-grade stainless steel wire |
| Strength Range | 50 lb to 250 lb test |
| Application | Saltwater lures, jigs, terminal connections |
| Use | Upgrade stock split rings; replacement for plug rebuilds |
The standard upgrade for any serious saltwater plug. Most production lures ship with split rings that are the first thing to fail under big fish leverage — Hyper Wire fixes the problem in one inexpensive swap. We rebuild our own plugs with these, and they're what we point people to when they're tired of losing fish at the boat.
