The Shimano Current Sniper Sinking Stickbaits cast like bullets thanks to their Propulsion Weight Transfer System. These are heavy-duty, through wired baits but if you're targeting really big fish we do recommend swapping them out for something more substantial.

Great color for a sand eel immitator. Changed both hooks to single inline hooks (Owner and VMC) for less damage to fish and angler.
Great lure but greatly disappointed with low quality hooks.
It casts like a monster, and retrieves best for me like a darter. You can go slow, superslow, twitch, pop, very versatile. This was the pleasant surprise lure of last season, for me. I broke one off this week, so I ordered two more of the smaller ones, having started this season on it! Thanks SE for getting it out to me right away! Ordered yesterday and will be delivered today in time for high tide! SHOP LOCAL RI!!!
I just took this lure to Costa Rica. It's an awesome casting lure that imitates the live sardines commonly used for inshore fishing. I was able to catch roosterfish/cubera snapper/jacks and 4 bluefin trevally. I was casting at the front of the boat while slow trolling live sardines out the back and the sniper outfished the live bait. I would replace the hooks right away because they are way too thin for larger fish. I didn't have any of the right size and broke the hook in half and lost a large roosterfish. The next day I switched the hooks out to stronger singles. Other than that, its amazing, just reel as fast as you can.
