Meticulously tested by tournament pros and veteran recreational anglers alike, the Shimano Expride A Spinning Rods has taken a serious step towards being a benchmark rod for the money. Light, sensitive, comfortable in hand, and balanced, the Expride comes in a variety of Americanized lengths and tapers to match our fishing styles in the U.S. Shimano's Hi-Power X rod technology was implemented in this rod series, giving the angler a sharp and crisp rod control. Diagonally wrapped carbon tape forms an array of "X" shapes on the blanks most outer layer, which is adjusted and fine-tuned to give each model precise actions, enhanced strength, and added twist resistance. A CI4+ reel seat ensures reel attachment is secure with great rigidity, while also providing added sensitivity. Fuji K-Frame SiC guides were precisely placed to enhance its action, strength, and lightweight aspects already seen on these rods. The Expride series is certainly one to consider, giving benchmark qualities other rods can be compared to.
