Super Strike Zig Zag Darter is a favorite anywhere you get heavy current or surf. An excellent casting lure that is ideal where there is a strong rip current, but unlike some darters this can certainly be used in less intense conditions. As soon as the cast lands pull back on the rod to get the lure to dig.
Note: Green Mackerel pattern does face a premium charge due to increased time to paint.
-For 2020, the hook configuration for Super Strike Zig Zags will consist of a treble front hook and single rear hook.

This is my go-to darter. The only thing better than the product, is the customer service provided by The Saltwater Edge.
The standard for Darters from the Western Sound to Montauk and all points in between. Works great in low light. If you are new to fishing a darter, it is not an easy plug to "feel" working. Takes a few trips to really get the hang of this plug, you need to know how to get it to "dig in" during the first few cranks of your retrieve; but that being said, once you can get the hang of fishing a lure that doesn t give much feedback, it is a solid lure and a go to for many situations. The darter will work, day or night, with or without current, but moderate current, with low light or night conditions seems to be the ideal scenario where this lure will produce best. At night, I crawl the darter through the water as slow as possible, occasionally I will give it a pop or twitch, but I like to work this lure slow and steady, through a cross current or moderate wave sweep in open beach conditions. First light or early day time with an overcast sky I prefer to fish it a little faster, and pop or twitch it every few turns, working it almost like
SS darters live up to their reputation, saltwater edge does a tremendous job with customer service and the speed in which they ship orders is unmatched
Great plug produced bites fishing without strong or moderate current swing
