Big improvement over the stock handle
If there is one item I would say the van staal x series missed it's the knob. I find the factory knob to be too small and awkward. This power knob is the finishing touch to a perfect reel for hard core surf fishing. It's extremely easy to install, super light-weight and made of the top-quality material all van staal reels are made of.
Wow what an upgrade. After fishing pancake knobs for 10 years I’m glad to have done this modification. You get more power fighting fish as well as more control working the plug. Colby is the man & installed it for me! 5 stars easy
