Elephants eat peanuts. When theDaiwa SP Minnow arrived on the scene a few years ago striper fishermen everywhere were reminded of that fact. Don't let the weight fool you, thanks to the weight transfer system this little lure casts as though it were much heavier.
This lure is a must for every surf bag. It straight up catches. Just swap out the hardware for some vmc hooks and you will catch fish.
This is the smallest of the Daiwa Sal Pro Minnows offered. But don't let that fool you into thinking it only catches small fish. Bluefish absolutely HAMMER this thing. I have also personally caught many slot stripers on this littly guy. Carry this and the 6" in your bag if the fish are being picky. Bone and Sand Eel are my favorite colors, but I'm sure they all work well. This lure is never not in my bag.
