The original Westin Swim Glidebait has many benefits – a compact shape, a realistic baitfish imitation design and the ability to cast like a bullet through the harshest wind. These benefits, while awesome for freshwater fishing, make the lure a perfect candidate to be a saltwater champion – so that's exactly what we did. This saltwater edition of the Swim is designed to target saltwater trophies like Redfish, Snook, Striped Bass, GT's and many more, thanks to some new saltwater-specific paint jobs and new extra strong hooks and split rings. The Swim is so easy to use, anyone could catch monsters on it. You can fish the Swim with “pull and wind” or on a steady retrieve, slow or fast, to create the action of a wounded, panicking baitfish and the panic can be increased with faster retrieves and regular pauses. This salty cousin of one of our most successful lures just opened up a whole new world to saltwater anglers.

This lure worked well last year during the fall run. When other lures were not getting anything. I put this on and started catching fish. Worked extremely well. So give this lure a try you will not be disappointed I wasn't.
When I first saw a video of guys fishing the Great Barrier Reef 5 years ago and saw them going cast for cast for cast, catching everything from Red Bass, Coral Trout, and even Giant Trevally, I was intrigued as to this lure that appeared to have that traditional lazy glide that you get from a custom glider in the northeast US surfcasting scene. To see a production lure handle have the action, take the abuse of locked drags and arguably the most ****** off fish on the planet, incredibly life like patterns, I had to give them a go. They are hands down, bar none the very best off the shelf glider for the price point. Thru wired construction, insanely detailed holographic finishes, stout hardware out of the box, the 120 model is a suspending bait that comes in at 4 7/8 inches long and about 2 1/8 oz and the bait itself can handle virtually any hook setup if you want to increase the sink rate. Add into the mix those low frequency rattles inside the lure and you’d be hard pressed to find a more affordable, high quality glider right off the shelf and they have become a staple of my surf bag!
