Wanted something modern to take the place of my late 90's St Croix "Ben Doerr" 10" surf rod. This has worked out nicely. Mine does a decent job at either end of the 1/2 to 3 oz lure range and a great job in between. Good build quality. Nice finish. I love the 30/70 split. Can fit it in a car but it still feels close to a one piece rod. I've a few 2-4 hour sessions with it casting non-stop. So far just schoolies up to 27". Will hopefully see how it handles bigger fish as the year progresses. Have a Penn SS VI 4500 bail-less model on it, seems to match well.
Absolutely awesome
It broke first cast… and I am having a hard time with the Tsunami company on a warranty replacement… Just get a Lamiglas
