United StatesI took off the rear hook and still caught a bunch of fish. Used at night on a sandy beach, when other lures we getting bumped but no takes.
I fish Long Island Sound so I need to be careful about deep running needlefish because of all the rocks. This model runs just deep enough to avoid snags but heavy enough to throw in the wind. Caught a 40 pound bass the night after I received this lure in the mail..so yes it works.
