United StatesI was very impressed with this rod for the money. I got the 9’ 3/4-3 and the rod throws half an ounce very well while throwing a two and a half ounce plug with authority. The rod has a strong back bone and I think it’s a perfect early season rod. The grip is very nice with a fatter section on the bottom that allows for a great grip. A small feature I really enjoy is an over size tip top guide that lets a ta clip through. All and all it’s a great buy for $200!

United StatesThis pole is exceptional. However I will say that I have limited use for its application. I think this rod is perfect for jigging. In particular at the CCC. Stick bates as well. I’m not keen on using this for any sort of plugging/popping/eeling.
