Tough but lightweight isn't the usual combo when it comes to surf tops, but Guy Cotten manages both with this material. We weren't sure when it first arrived it would hold up given the way surfcasters sometimes fish, but it does. Easily.

The Efficient has all the features you look for in a surf top: waterproof front pouch, smooth neoprene collar with velcro flap and hood. As well as adjustable neoprene waistband and cuffs.
This top has come to be the most useful item in my truck. ive used it a handful of times while fishing and it has proven to be light, spacious and best of all it does what it says it supposed to do. the material is thin which helps with mobility, provides enough room to layer up underneath for those chilly spring and early fall months when the fishing season is opening or winding down. the grey color is subtle and attracts little attention if thats your goal when fishing your favorite spot and dont want others to see you catching, the waist, neck and wrist gaskets are secure and ive yet to feel water intrusion in the rain or in the surf. front pocket is handy though i would only trust putting lighter items in it, it has a tendency to feel baggy once full of stuff. I recommend trying one on and seeing how it suits you.
United StatesThis surf top was one of my best purchases for 2020.. It is lightweight, thin, and comfortable but still warm for those fall/spring nights. The hood design is awesome and the neck gasket is comfortable with no issues so far. Front pouch is useful but isn't watertight (velcro not zippered) so some water does get in. All in all a great surf top.
United StatesYesterday is why I wanted this, it was hot and wearing this was much cooler then any other dry top I have worn. I got knocked of a rock and rolled in the surf, I stayed dry. I recommend this top. Thanks
