Toray 24T carbon. Six models. The everyday boat rod at a value price.
The Jigging World Equinox is the clean, minimalist inshore conventional rod for anglers who want a workhorse boat rod that doesn't break the bank. Built on Japanese Toray 24T carbon fiber, the blank is responsive enough for finesse fluke work and strong enough for serious blackfish bottom-fishing. Six models cover Medium (fluke, sea bass) through Extra-Heavy (deep jigging, bigger striper), with both 7' and 7'6" lengths to match your style. Custom guides with SiC rings keep line flowing clean, the integrated hook keeper means you don't lose your rig between spots, and the premium high-density EVA grips stay comfortable through long sessions.

At $149-$159, the Equinox is the value pick in the carbon-fiber inshore conventional category. The Toray 24T blank tech isn't quite the same as the higher-end Jigging World rods, but it's still serious carbon-fiber performance at a price that's accessible to anglers stepping up from fiberglass. The 7' MH is the do-it-all pick for most Northeast inshore boat work.
