When to throw it

The Mag Darter is a great match for chunky baitfish like mullet, and it produces on striped bass and bluefish from the surf, the jetty, and the boat. Slow rolling it just under the surface at first and last light is hard to beat, and it holds its action across a wide range of retrieve speeds.
