With a bight tin corrosion-resistant finish, the BKK Viper-41 Treble Hook is a super sharp and strong treble designed for saltwater poppers, stick baits and other hard baits alike. A shortened welded section of the treble keeps its lightweight form, giving the lure greater ability to move more naturally on its own. Long and straight needle points assist with its hook-up ratio even with the most subtle fish, while an aggressive bend keeps fish locked in after hookup.
These hooks are super strong, sharp, and keep fish on. My hookup ratio has vastly improved after upgrading all my lures with these.
I purchased the 2/0 to replace the stock hooks on some Superstrike darters as well as some Norcalkat demon darters. The 2/0 weigh the same as 3/0 4x VMC so the plugs had the same action and depth, and I trust the hooks will not bend out. I've landed a bunch of fish on them so far, and the points have mostly held up. The one thing I've noticed is that when the hooks snag on rocks they may lose their point, but sharpening them brings it back. I appreciate that the barbs are minimal, and so far there has been no sign of rust on any of them. I plan to slowly shift to using these on all my big fish plugs
Decided to upgrade on the rm smith jig smith and my loaded red fins hookup ratio on the jig smith increased dramatically! Be careful these hooks are super sharp, PLEASE CRUSH YOUR BARBS!
