185mm. 94g. Near-stationary walking action. Tail-down at pause.
The Shimano Current Sniper Splash Walk is the big-bait topwater built for big predators — tuna, GT, big striped bass, and other apex-class fish. The standout is the near-stationary walking action: most walking plugs scoot forward with each twitch, but the Splash Walk sits in front of the fish longer, giving them time to key in and commit to the bait. Heavier in the rear gives you serious casting distance, and the tail-down vertical presentation during pauses is a different look from typical topwater profile — many fish hit on the pause. Low-frequency rattle adds the audible attraction that pulls fish from distance. 7-1/4" / 3-3/8 oz body in six colors.

The Splash Walk's near-stationary action is a different look from typical walking plugs — bigger fish (especially tuna and big striper) often need a bait that hangs in the strike zone longer than a fast walk-the-dog plug provides. Shimano nailed the design with the rear weighting: the lure casts further than its weight suggests, and the tail-down pause posture triggers strikes from fish that would refuse a horizontal-sitting plug. Squid is the color we sell the most for night surf, Black Back for the boats running for tuna.
