This is the last shop talk of 2024! It's hard to believe and this year feels like it flew by. I thought it would be fun to give you all some of the numbers from this past year. We had a lot of fun writing articles, fishing reports, filming videos, and recording podcasts. Thank you all for reading or tuning in. On to the numbers!

Our most viewed blog post from 2024 was our Saltwater Fly Fishing 101 article.We love to see the growing interest in saltwater fly fishing. If you are curious about getting into saltwater fly fishing this article is a great place to start. 

The most viewed YouTube video from this past year was The Best Saltwater Spinning Reels under $300.

Our most popular product from 2024 was the Hogy Epoxy Jig. This was no surprise for us, this jig catches everything. We've seen just about every species in New England caught on one of these, and with their range of colors and sizes you can match any hatch. Want to see all the most popular products? The most read fishing report from 2024 was the May New Moon Forecast. This is when a lot of anglers come out of hibernation and start taking the season seriously. 

The most searched for term on our website this past year was "ODM." These rods have a growing popularity and with the new EVO-X release this year there were a lot of people searching for it. 

We spooled up a lot of line this year. Line is one of the things that can be tough to track but by our records we spooled 314,000 yards of line in 2024. That's 178.4 miles of braided line.
