VMC 9171PS Open Eye Siwash Hooks
The VMC 9171 Siwash Hooks were originally designed for salmon fishermen but work great for replacing the trebles or poor quality singles on the back of your favorite plugs. VMC Siwash Hooks are lighter and sharper than most other hooks out of the box hooks. Size 2/0 are great for smaller plugs like Bombers or stubby needlefish Size 3/0 is perfect for small darters, needlefish, poppers, and much more weighing almost 1 Ounce Size 4/0 work great on plugs weighing 1 ounce. Lighter plugs where too much tail weight might affect the action Size 5/0 or 6/0 are a good match fpr plugs 2 ounces and up. Big Danny Swimmers, Beachmaster Swimmers, Darters, or plugs where a little added weight wouldn't affect the overall action of the plug. Big hook for big fish!

Saltwater Edge Bucktail
These bucktails take us back to a time when bucktail consistency and quality were actually good. All of these tails have been hand selected, dyed, and dried (slowly) to achieve some of the best quality we have seen in awhile. The tails have lots of hair as well, and are offered in 2 options. The standards are tails with hair 4" and under, while the premiums are 4" and over. These are really great tails.

Super Strike Little Neck Swimmer
Super Strike Little Neck Swimmer v.3 (a.k.a. "Bottle Plug") is an excellent casting swimmer designed to dig-in fast, even in heavy crosswinds. This plug works well in calm or rough surf. It's weighted to cast great even when the wind is right in your face.
The Little Neck Swimmer floats when it lands and when retrieved will swim down about 3-5 feet even in rough waters. Rattles help big fish hone in on this lure even in dark and dirty water. When Danny's, Atom's and others are unable to bite in rough surf this is a lure a lot of anglers go to.
New modified version v.3 now rattles and has better castability.
The Super N Fish comes outfitted with a 3/0 VMC 9626PS 4x Treble Hook on the belly and a 7/0 VMC 7265PS O'Shaughnessy Live Bait on the rear.

Ewing Saddle Hackle
These are great quality full saddle hackles. The majority of these feathers are true "sword" shaped feathers, great for flatwings and other saltwater streamers. They also have a good amount of bigger "webby" feathers on the back for palmering or tying half and half clousers minnows and other medium to large sized streamers. There are also varying amounts of thin feathers on the sides which have many uses. The main difference between these saddles and the Cordeiro Saddles is that these have a range of feathers on them, while the majority of the feathers on the Cordeiro Saddles are perfect swords.

Course Overview
Saltwater Edge On The Fly is a forum designed for saltwater fly anglers with a few years of experience who want to achieve more consistent success. The expert faculty comprises some of the top guides, authors, and fly fishing professionals along the striper coast, and the presentation format encourages audience interaction. Panelists will discuss advanced surf and inshore techniques, species-specific strategies, and the tackle and tactics for different habitats.
