Exciting new technology drives the introduction of the new Performance Driven Tsunami
SALTX II Surf Rod series. Using proprietary thirty-ton tensile, HALO Carbon Fiber with
100% nano-carbon scrim in tip-to-butt configuration delivers light, strong, super resilient
blank construction. This advanced materials design results in greatly reduced blank
diameter and weight with no sacrifice in performance. Optimized blank patterning and
wall thickness provides superior lifting power and durability. Improved resilience almost
instantly dampens casting oscillation and decreases the strain on the angler during the
fight.

All of the two-piece models feature tip-into-butt ferrule design in a 70 / 30 split,
delivering increased joint stability and strength and a one-piece feel. Each models’
action is performance tuned to deliver easier loading and improved energy transfer to
each cast for extra casting distance with reduced effort. The increased efficiency of
each blank design makes using these superior rods easier on the angler whether
casting for hours or fighting bigger fish. Casting distance is also enhanced through the
selection of precisely sized and located Fuji® Titanium, K framed, Slim SiC ring, one
foot and two foot lightweight guides for optimal flow with braided lines. The lighter
guides, especially toward the rod tip reduces weight to improve balance and recovery
as well as improved casting dampening and increases sensitivity.

Ergonomic grips are overlaid with textured shrink rubber for more comfort and better
grip under all circumstances with less fatigue. A genuine Fuji® TVS 17 reel seat
accommodates all reel foot sizes with less bulk and weight and a Fuji® rubber butt cap will stay put even on slick waders. All guide wraps are coated with tough epoxy and the rod is then coated with a non-glare protective topcoat.
