The Jr size darts cleanly in moderate current and casts well on a 5000-class setup, making it the right pick for anglers fishing rocky points, jetties, and back-bay current breaks where the full-size darter is overkill.

Rigging & Use

• Cast across or slightly up-current to the seam
• Pull the rod back hard right after splashdown to make the lure dig
• Slow to medium retrieve with rod sweeps — let the current animate the lure
• White: dawn, dusk, and clear water — the everyday color
• Yellow: stained water, low-light, and night sessions
